ICROA Accreditation Programme
Approval against the ICROA Code of Best Practice ensures that businesses effectively reduce and compensate for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through the use of high-quality carbon credits. The Programme is open to voluntary carbon market (VCM) service providers committed to promoting the highest standards of environmental integrity in support of the goals of the Paris Agreement. ICROA is a non-profit Programme housed within IETA.

ICROA Code of
Best PracticeThe ICROA Code of Best Practice aims to define international best practice for carbon management and compensation, and represents the minimum requirements that all ICROA Approved organisations must meet.

Carbon Crediting Endorsement
ICROA provides a Carbon Crediting Endorsement Procedure to assess the rigour of Standards or Registries for inclusion in the Code of Practice. The Endorsement Procedure ensures that the Standards operate with high integrity including good governance, open access as well as robust validation and verification of carbon projects.
